Refund Policy
At PatchesMaker.ca, we make every product to match each customer’s specific requirements. Since our products are personalized, our refund policy is explained below.
Please review this information before you place your order.
1. Custom-Made ProductsAll patches produced by PatchesMaker.ca are manufactured according to approved customer specifications, including:
- Size
- Shape
- Material
- Backing type
- Thread selection
- Colour choices
- Finishing details
Because each order is custom, all sales are final once production begins.
2. Order CancellationYou can only cancel your order before:
- Final artwork approval, and
- Production commencement
If we have already started production, you cannot cancel the order, and payments are non-refundable.
Design, sampling, or proofing fees are non-refundable once we begin work.
3. Eligibility for Refund or ReplacementWe will only consider refunds or replacements in these situations:
- The final product differs significantly from the approved digital proof, or
- There is a verified manufacturing defect caused by a production error.
Minor variations in colour, texture, or stitching resulting from material characteristics or screen differences do not constitute defects.
4. Claim Submission ProcessIf you think your order should be reviewed:
- Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Provide clear photographs of the issue.
- Include your order number and description of the concern.
Claims sent after 7 days may not be reviewed.
5. Non-Refundable SituationsWe do not offer refunds in these situations:
- Errors approved during the proofing stage (including spelling or design mistakes).
- Customer-requested design changes after approval.
- Incorrect application of patches (e.g., improper heat press use).
- Damage caused by improper washing, storage, or handling.
- Courier delays, lost shipments, or delivery interruptions are outside our control.
Slight differences may occur due to:
- Screen display settings
- Thread dye batch variations
- Fabric texture
- Production methods
These natural differences are not considered defects.
7. Resolution OptionsIf your claim is approved, we may, at our discretion:
- Offer a partial refund, or
- Provide a replacement batch, or
- Apply a credit toward a future order.
The solution we offer will depend on the type and size of the problem.
8. Refund ProcessingIf we approve a refund:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
- Processing times can vary based on your bank or payment provider.
Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the error was caused directly by PatchesMaker.ca.
9. Bulk OrdersFor large orders, small differences may happen during production. Variations within normal industry standards do not qualify for refunds.
If a large part of your order has confirmed defects, we will review it and find a fair solution.
